The default worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2010 does not show the controls.<\/p>\n<p>In order to bring up the controls, you need to make the <strong>developer<\/strong> tab visible. To display the\u00a0<strong>developer<\/strong>\u00a0tab, click<strong> File<\/strong> and then click <strong>Options. <\/strong>In the Options dialog, click <strong>Customize Ribbon<\/strong> and under <strong>Main Tabs<\/strong> check the <strong>Developer<\/strong> box, as shown in the Figure below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/excelvbatutor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/showdeveloper.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-780\" alt=\"showdeveloper\" src=\"http:\/\/excelvbatutor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/showdeveloper.jpg\" width=\"1366\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now your Microsoft Excel workbooks shows the Developer tab and the ActiveX controls are available there, as shown in the Figure below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/excelvbatutor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/showdeveloper_xcel.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-781\" alt=\"showdeveloper_xcel\" src=\"http:\/\/excelvbatutor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/showdeveloper_xcel.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"408\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adding an active x control in Microsoft Excel 2010 is not as obvious as in the earlier versions of MS Excel.
